The Orchard Farm Fire Protection District is bordered by Central County Fire and Rescue to the west and Rivers Pointe Fire Protection District to the east. We protect portions of the Mississippi River to the north and the Missouri River to the south. The district covers an area of approximately 46 square miles and serves approximately 1,400 citizens. The district includes several large marinas, residential areas, the Orchard Farm School District, the St. Charles County Airport (Smartt Airfield), railroad tracks, pipelines, and is mostly made up of rural agriculture. We provide all types of emergency services. The district runs approximately 200 calls a year. We are equipped with one rescue pumper, one pumper tanker, one tanker, one brush truck, and one rescue boat. The district participates in the Missouri Mutual-Aid agreement and utilizes the surrounding departments for equipment and manpower as needed.
